Autoresponders and How They Work

An autoresponder is a computer program that automatically sends a message or series of messages sent at a given day and time without human intervention.

The autoresponder is all automated once you have set up your email campaigns for your specific lists.  You can create a number of lists to set up emails with an autoresponder.

It's a great way to send out welcome emails and follow-up emails about a specific topic such as:  "How to Build Your List," "All About Horses," "How to Cook for One."

The user needs to write up the pre-written messages when setting up autoresponder campaigns.

A form code is then generated and put on the squeeze page or landing page to capture the names and email addresses of those that sign up to your list.

What is a Squeeze Page and What Does it Do?

A Squeeze page is a Landing page or Lead Capture page designed to get visitors or leads to fill out an opt-in form with their name and email address.  Another way to put it is that visitors subscribe to your list where they receive a series of follow up emails about the product or service you are trying to sell.  A squeeze page will often have a video or eye-catching graphics, enticing the visitor to stay long enough to sign up to the opt-in list for more information.

Once you are done creating your squeeze page, you can advertise on social networks, traffic exchanges, and opt-in mailers.  You can put the HTML on your website as well.

It is necessary to have an autoresponder to place on your squeeze page to collect the names and email addresses of your prospects that you want to write follow-up emails.  The autoresponder will automatically send them out after you have set up your follow up emails.  Once the autoresponder is set up, it is easy to maintain.

What is a Splash Page and What Does it Do?

A splash page is a page that Webmasters use as a gate between the initial loading of the site and the actual site content.  Splash pages often feature high-design visuals to attract Web users to proceed further into the website.

In other words:  The splash page is used to get the attention of a prospect to click on a button or other icon that goes to the website.  A variety of graphics and images are used with color psychology to enhance the splash page to it's greatest potential.  Branding yourself with your picture or logo is highly recommended to get people to know, like, and trust you.  It usually takes 7 times of viewing or more before a user will click on your page.  The more unique and attention-grabbing you make your page, the better chance you have of people going to your website.

We all want to stand out more, so we don't want to use standard affiliate pages.   The reasons why are: no one will notice you; they will not get to know you, like you, and trust you; and they will not click on your pages or sign up to your autoresponder series.

You need get your viewers to see what you want them to see and feel what you want them to feel with your ads.  Understanding color psychology is very important for the success of your Splash, Squeeze, Landing,  or Lead Capture Pages.

Marketing Success Means Putting Yourself Out There Consistently

Designed with AdCreatorDesign

I have people that tell me that their advertising doesn't work, but they haven't been doing it long enough.  It takes time.  They also don't brand themselves in a community of like-minded people that can get to know, like and trust them.

Think of it this way.  Wouldn't you rather go to a restaurant that your friends recommended because they know it's good and they know the owners?  Online marketing works the same way.

To do well in online marketing, you need to consistently brand yourself. This means that you need to put your picture on your pages and  advertising yourself in front of an audience persistently, consistently, and daily.  I can't stress this enough.

You won't make money overnight either.  It's not realistic.  Imagine what you would need to do if you opened a store or restaurant.  You would need to do advertising and be in your store or restaurant every day so you could get to know the people in your area.  Your neighborhood would want to get to know, like and trust you as well.  It's the same thing for online marketing.  Please don't expect anything to happen overnight because it won't.  If anybody told you that it would happen overnight, they were wrong.

You need to do your online marketing daily or as close to daily as possible.  If you don't put yourself out there daily, people will forget about you and move on to someone else.  The competition is fierce, so get yourself out there, be consistent, persistent, and don't give up when the going gets tough.

It takes hard work and dedication to market online.

Brand your pages with your picture on Landing pages, Lead Capture pages, Squeeze pages, Splash pages, and Banners.  (Landing, Lead Capture, and Squeeze pages all mean the same thing.) AdCreatorDesign is specifically designed so you can do just that.  Writing a blog about your business using SEO is important, too.  Facebook is a good place to advertise your business by putting up a page, connecting your blog to it and using some of Facebook's paid advertising.

If you haven't read my new improved AdCreatorDesign guide, download it here.  I am also working on adding more information to the guide so that it will have as much material as possible to help you learn how to use the AcCreatorDesign program.

FYI: Open AdCreatorDesign in Google Chrome for all users. Google Chrome has been working the best for me and other people.
